Sweet Revenge for Macke Motors........Subs fall hard...Brokers close the gap!

In the early morning hours of July 30th this report's computer was struck by lightning preventing the mass email to be sent out on August 4th announcing my most recent post about your publisher getting waxed by Ron Juergens. Some vocal individuals claimed that the report was simply not written because of that loss and that is not true and you can see below I did blog about my loss! Those critical individuals will be notified about being placed on subscription probation for their comments. I am glad to say that everything is fixed and back up!

Week 16 started with Your Bud Light team just 30 points out of first place and it ended with largest loss in team history. Who ever said that guys over 50 forget things was certainly wrong as Macke Motors clearing remembered Tuesday, August 25, 2009 when Your Bud Light team captured the 2009 Carroll Country Club Men's League Championship with a 48 to 24 beating of the motors. The revenge of almost a year ago reared its ugly head on Tuesday night as Macke Motors bludgeoned the defending men's league champions 46 to 26. It was a clean sweep for the motors as Flying Bob Raue beat Bud Two Troy Auen 12 to 6, Hyvee Store Director Joel Flug beat 2008 Bud Light Golfer of the Year Mike Schulz 12 to 6, Car Wash Todd Pettitt beat Long time subscriber, top local amateur, highly successful and more veteran golfer Craig Mertz 11 to 7 and Captain Randy Bierl beat 2009 Bud Light Golfer of the Year Steve Sinnard. It was only the Saturday night prior at the Dedham Legion Hall where team owner Gus Macke was over heard telling Flying Bob Raue "when you have a minor league team you should not play in the majors" as he referred to last year's loss. Macke's statement will go down as the most motivational statement in Men's League history and insures Macke's introduction in the Men's League Hall of Fame. This report prides it self on fair and balanced reporting but this was not a balanced match. I congratulate the motors for their huge win that has set them up for a Phil Mickelson Divisional Championship and a return appearance to the final match.

Macke Motors were tied with Papa Joe's Subway team starting week 16. That ended quickly as Hawkeye Commodity Brokers squashed the Subs 45 to 27. Digger Dave Nelson beat Papa Joe Pick 14 to 4. A good win for Nelson but it has jeopardize his invitation for the 2011 Papa Joe Okoboji Classic. Monument Man Loren Boyce pounded Spanky Vollstedt 14 to 4 and Head broker Sean O'Leary tied Junk Yard Dog Cuda Quandt. Carroll Country Club Championship 3rd place finisher Produce Tom Duff was the only winner for the Subs beating Wade Wilkie 10 to 8. For the subs they fall into a 2nd place tie with Windstar and are 19 points out of the lead. The Brokers started the night 15 points back of Sharp Funeral Home and their win closed that gap to just 4.

League leading Sharp Funeral Home stumbled against Badding Construction 38 to 33 allowing Hawkeye Commodity Brokers to close the gap to 4. Gary Stark the MVP for the carpenters.

Carroll County State Bank smashed Utilicom 44 to 28 and moved up to 3rd place.

The La-z-boys won a close one over Miller Lite. A subbing Steve "Hans" Auen beat a subbing Randy Hockom.

Carroll Cycle Center topped Windstar 37 to 35. Ron Badding with a big win over Captain Terry Ruchti.

Commercial Savings Bank beat Pizza Ranch 37 to 35. Aaron Pick the MVP beating Scott Schon 13 to 5.

The guns of Volquartsen Customs held up Community Oil 42 to 30. In a battle of bankers Westside State Savings Bank's head teller Matt Lujano the MVP with a 13 to 5 win over Iowa Savings Bank's Scott Monical.

Linde Equipment took it to Templeton Savings Bank 41 to 31. Aaron Juergens the MVP with a 14 to 4 win.

Kasperbauer Cleaners bloodied Elin's 9-irons 58 to 14. Wow what a victory!

Templeton Rye beat Carroll Glass 37 to 35, Larry's Automotive beat Byron's Boyz 39 to 33 and the Stiff Sticks beat par 37 to 35.

That is a wrap for week 16! Your Bud Light team will look to regroup for next week.

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the structure of your website?

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way
of content so people could connect with it
better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2
images. Maybe you could space it out better?
