Your Bud Light Team concludes 2009 Planning session!

Your Bud Light Golf Team has officially closed the door on the 2009 planning session along the shores of Banderas Bay in beautiful Peurto Vallarta Mexico. The session was a huge success and will pave the way for Your Bud Light team to defend its 2009 Carroll Country Club Supper League Championship.
Team officials are reporting an outlandish email from Subway’s Joe Pick after returning from Beaver Run Golf Course on Thursday where Steve “CudaQuandt shot 82 to take the medalist honors and Papa Joe Pick and Tomato John Gradoville carded 83’s. In Pick’s email he claims that 2009 is going to be the year of the farmer and the dog. Undisclosed Bud Light report sources have confirmed that the farmer shot the dog about week 9 of the CCC Supper League last year so the validity of the quote is under question.
Here is the actual quote in its entirety "We are now ready to take on
the infamous BUD LITE TEAM, rather "YOUR BUD LITE TEAM" to the carpet.
This is the year of the Farmer & the Dog. A new champion will be crowned at
the end of the league season.................?"
Your Bud Light delegates opened the session by working on their games at Tom Weiskopf’s Vista Vallarta Golf Club. A changeling Mexican layout stretching 6595 yards with a course rating 71.4 and a slope of 134. Long time subscriber, top local amateur, highly successful and more veteran golfer Craig Mertz fired a strong 85, Steve Sinnard stroked his game to a 84, adopted friend from the Velas Vallarta pool who inside sources have pegged as 50 billion ponzi swindler Bernie aka Alaskan Tim Bell Madoff fired a 92 and Your captain scurried the course in 82 shots. A wide variety of shots(golf shots that is) were practiced in the session and your captain is confident with a small amount of practice this team will be ready the start of the 2009 season. .
When the practice session finished the members resorted to the pool area for sun filled talks about this year’s roster, the opening night lineup, additional sponsorship requests, the mathematical process that will be used this year to determine the weekly lineup and the 2009 budget, which I am proud to report is balanced. Members were dedicated to the discussions as talks lasted in to the early evenings prior to the trio breaking for supper with their lovely wives who were usually finishing up from a day of pampering by the pool or the enjoyment of the massage tent down by the ocean.

Once supper was finished talks resumed by the martini bar down by the ocean where more details were hammered out for the upcoming season and only then did the team reps adjourned so they could reflect on the accomplishments of the day prior to retiring to their suite over looking the three large pools and the Pacific Ocean.
The official adjournment of the talks was on Friday, March 6th at 3:00 P.M. allowing the group to celebrate the 47th birthday of Long………….. Also on Friday the delegates and wives were invited to attend a fish fry where the fish was actually caught by our very own Dave Nelson, Rick Renze, John Hoffert and Captain in Charge Curt Kirsch.

In conclusion, the motto to start the year for Your Bud Light team is “Everything is fine in 2009” We would like to thank travel coordinator Lynda Dukes Franey and all of the fine staff of the Velas Vallarta Resort and Convention Center for making the trip very successful. Wellllllllllllll the countdown is on and look for team updates as the month of March unfolds. As always thanks for your support in Your Bud Light Team!

Fairways, greens and a nice sun tan to all!
