Forty five guys woke up last Thursday dreaming about winning the 2014 Papa Joe Classic on the fairways and greens of Brooks National Golf Course. In the end Mother Nature got the upper hand and shortened the 36 invitational tournament. The tournament was reduced to and scored on just the scores from Wednesday's play. Rowdy Rick Grote and Pat "Hank" Henkenius were tied at 66 and Mike "Jewels" Eckerman and Mike "Mouthpiece" Franey were tied at 67. The tournament was decided on hole #4 of the Yellow course where Henkenius edged Grote for the championship and Eckerman prevailed over Franey for third.
