Here comes Bud Light.....Hackett upset.....The Junkyard dog takes it low!

Another solid win for Your Bud Light team in week 9 and now your Bud Light is only 33 points out of the lead in the British Open Division. Bud Three Steve Auen, Mike Franey and Steve Sinnard all winners for the two time champions. Bud Two Troy Auen the only loser. Craig Mertz and Mike Schulz were not in action.


Champion Ford continues to lead the flight with a big 47 to 25 pounding of Byronz Boyz. Ford man Steve Herrin the MVP with a 14 to 4 win over Brian Widdell. Clothier Wade Wilkie beat Steve Young 13 to 5, Monument Man Loren Boyce beat Bob Gigeure and Digger Dave Nelson tied Tony Feldman.

In other action in the Phil Mickelson division Graddy’s Salsa moved to third with a 30 to 42 loss to Fairway Frank and the Stiff Sticks. Doc Sporrer, Chip Wittrock and Neal Cross all won 11 to 7 over Dr. Nick Fangman, Mike Loehr and Rick Grote respectively. Fairway Frank and Jeff Scharfenkamp battled to a tie.

In the battle of the Templeton’s the Rye boys of Templeton Rye beat Templeton Savings Bank 37 to 35. Steve “Cuda” Quandt the MVP with a one under par 33 that scored him low gross, closest to the pin, low net and a 10 to 8 win over Eastside Tony Pietig. Papa Joe Pick the only other winner for the whiskeys with an 11 to 7 win over John Feld. A subbing Jamming Joe Hinners tied Scott Greteman and John Horbach beat Tom Duff 11 to 7. Templeton Rye remains on top and were the low net team.

Juergen’s Lawn Care beat Badding Construction 37 to 35. Retired Realtor Jair Mayhall the MVP and only winner for the hammers with a 12 to 6 win over Ron Juergens. Kyle Christensen, Bill Linde and Bob Linde were all winners for the lawn mowers. Christensen nailed the longest putt on #18.

Action over in the Zach Johnson division Macke Motors extended their lead even with a 34 to 38 loss to Chico Kanne’s Community Oil team. Jerry Janson pounded Papa Joe Champion Jeff Minnich 15 to 3 on his way to low net. Flying Bob Raue a big winner 15 to 3 over the head oil jobber Chico Kanne. What could possibly be wrong with Community Oil’s head man as he had not seen the winner's circle since week 5....just saying? Todd Kanne beat Randy Bierl 11 to 7 and Dierk Halverson and Car Wash Todd Pettitt went nine holes only to tie.

Carroll Cycle Center lost ground to the motors with a 32 to 40 loss to Budweiser. GPS Bob Pudenz the MVP for the king of beers with a 12 to 6 win over Captain Terry Ruchti. Tom Farner and Joel Harris beat Dr. J.B. Greenwell and Bus man John Greteman. Counter top Pat Malloy’s losing streak is now two as he lost to Corey Bluml 10 to 8. Bluml shared low gross honors with Brad Pick. Budweiser was low net team.

Utilcomm beat Carroll Broadcasting 37 and 35. Head cable guy Chad Kanne upset Kimmy’s son Collin Hackett 12 to 6. Pat Macke lost to Terry Wurzer 12 to 6, Kyle Ludwig came out of the pro shop to beat Wyatt Haukap 11 to 7 and Tyler Tassell beat Easy Ed Vanderheiden 12 to 6.

WCI beat Brown Shoe Fit 37 to 35. Brian Badding led the way for the basement fixers. John Nepple a big winner over Michael Kasperbauer 12 to 6.

Greteman Chiropractic took it on the chin from Van Diest Supply Company 38 to 34. The chemical supply company remains on top with a 12 point lead over Budweiser. Brad Pick and Dirk Glynn the MVP’s for the leaders. Bill Schwabe, not Mike as I inadvertently called him last week, the MVP for the back crackers.
