A nice night welcomed the golfers in the Men’s Supper League at the Carroll Country Club!
Carpet One
Floor and Home continued their winning ways with a 7-3 beat down of Westside
State Savings Bank. All winners for the carpets except the head carpet himself,
Colin Bierl. John Sturm, Brad Pick and Brad Hempstead beat Aaron Ahrendsen,
Billy Beck and Justin Yetmar respectively. Brad Hempstead was low gross with a
32 on the back nine! Justin Yetmar was closest to the pin on 17.
HD of
Carroll shattered the plate glasses of Carroll Glass 6-2. HD’s all-world head
cycle cleaner Wade Adams and the Head hog Terry Ruchti were winners for the
cycles beating Keith Pottebaum and Evan Koster. Benton Snyder and Head Glass cutter Andy Reiman both won.
I never knew
that PAR was so easy to beat! Sharp Funeral Home beat PAR 7-2. Cable Chad Kanne
and the hottest golfer on the planet Pat Greteman were winners. Numbers Bobby
Muhlbauer and Giddy Up Wyatt Haukap tied.
America’s
team was led by long-time subscriber, former top local
amateur, highly successful and very veteran golfer Craig Mertz and CK Curt
Kirsch beating Champion Chrysler 6-4. Clothier Wade Wilke never missed the
middle of the fairway and beat Mouthpiece Mike Franey. Bud Two Troy Auen and the
farmer Clint Cummings tied.
Champion Ford
showed respect to their elders and tied Stiff Sticks 4-4. Magic Mike Nelson the
only winner for the sticks. John Baratta the only winner for the car company
beat Bud One Jim Auen.
Graddy’s
Tomatoes edged Full Swing Golf 5.5-3.5. Tator Tot Tim Gute and Tomato John were
winners for the growers. Ryan Lynch was the only winner for the swingers
OH BOBBY
beat Anytime Fitness 5.5-3.5. A subbing Tony Schultes the only winner for OH
BOBBY and Cody Forch the only winner for the gym rats. Easy Ed lost!
Welcome to Hugo and his staff. Most of the time change comes with unforeseen obstacles. I urge all of us to be patient as we grow together. At the end of the day, the ultimate goal is to make the CCC a better place.
